Donato da Silva Filho is the founder and CEO of Volt Robotics, a boutique consulting firm that transforms complex data into clarity for high-impact decision-making. Under his leadership, Volt aims to establish itself as a trusted advisor to the utilities and infrastructure sectors, combining technical expertise, data science, and artificial intelligence to solve complex problems-particularly when significant risk, uncertainty, and value are at stake. Throughout his career, Donato has worked on strategic issues in the power sector, including curtailment, energy storage systems, price formation, risk management, tariffs, distributed generation, energy trading, research and development, and technical support for highly complex disputes. He is a professor at Fundação Dom Cabral and teaches graduate courses in Computational Modeling and Intelligent Systems at the University of São Paulo (USP) and FIA Business School. He earned his Electrical Engineering degree with honors from the São Carlos School of Engineering at USP and completed a direct-entry PhD at the same university. He was also a researcher at the University of Campinas (UNICAMP) and a Fulbright Visiting Scholar at Cornell University. His executive education includes programs at Insper, Fundação Dom Cabral, IESE Business School, Amana Key, and MIT, as well as an immersion program in Silicon Valley and Xynteo's Leadership Vanguard Program.
