Mr. Simon is director with the Gas, Power, and Energy Futures team at IHS Markit. He focuses on cost, technology, and power policies for Latin America.
Prior to joining IHS Markit, Mr. Simon was with Siemens (Chemtech), where he was involved in conceptual and detailed engineering design for projects in the oil and gas industry, energy efficiency, electrical power quality for industrial facilities, and risk analysis for the downstream sector. He also held a post as business developer engineer responsible for business strategies in the downstream and power sector.

Marcio Trannin, Vice-President of the Board of Administrators, ABSOLAR

Vice-President of the Board of Administrators of ABSOLAR (Brazilian Photovoltaic Solar Energy Association) with 7+ years experience in Business Development and M&A in Renewables in Brazil and Uruguay, working for Enel Green Power. 13+ years experience in Regulatory Affairs and Energy Trading of several technologies (renewables, gas, large hidro plants) in Brazil, working for Enel. Institutional experience in Brazilian Electric Sector after more than 20 years working in the sector.
