Vinícius holds a bachelor (LL.B), Master (LL.M) and Doctorate (SJ.D) degrees in Tax Law from the University of São Paulo ('USP') and a Doctorate degree (Ph.D) in Economics (ongoing) from the School of Business and Economics at INSPER.
Vinícius also served as a judge at the Administrative Tax Court of the State of São Paulo ('TIT') and as a consultant for Law and Development matters for the Inter-American Development Bank ('IDB').
He has solid experience in advising national and international clients on complex issues of Tax Law and in structuring, negotiating and executing national and international investments in the Brazilian market (e.g., transactions involving mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, private equity, project finance, debt issuance, corporate restructuring, etc.), in addition to representing Brazilian companies that are expanding internationally.
