He earned a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo (POLI/USP) in 2000, a master's degree in civil engineering from POLI/USP in 2005, and an MBA in Project Management from the Getúlio Vargas Foundation (FGV) in 2007. He joined the National Electric Energy Agency (ANEEL) as a Specialist in Public Energy Services Regulation in July 2005, as part of the agency's first class of permanent staff. He is currently a member of the team at the Superintendence for the Regulation of Generation Services and the Electric Power Market (SGM/ANEEL), serving as Coordinator of Generation Services and Facilities.
