Adriana Lucimar de Oliveira is an electrical engineer; she is pursuing a master's degree in Electrical Engineering at the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo (Poli-USP), holds an Executive MBA in Finance from IBMEC/RJ, and has a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, with a focus on Electrical Technology, from CEFET/RJ. She has more than 20 years of experience in the Brazilian electricity sector, having worked at companies such as ENEVA (formerly MPX Energia) and EDF Norte Fluminense, where she gained extensive experience in regulation, energy trading, power plant operations, and institutional relations with key industry agencies, such as ANEEL, MME, EPE, ONS, and CCEE. Since 2020, she has served as Head of New Business and Innovation at Thymos Energia, leading the design, development, and coordination of strategic projects aimed at regulatory and technological modernization in the electricity sector. In its operations, the company leads initiatives across the entire sector-generation, transmission, distribution, retail, and system operations-with an emphasis on topics such as operational flexibility, energy security, digitalization, the energy transition, and the integration of new technologies, including energy storage, hydrogen, and artificial intelligence. She has an advanced understanding of energy planning models and, throughout his career, has integrated innovation, regulation, and sustainability as pillars for the development of the Brazilian electricity sector.
