Adjunct Professor at the School of Engineering at the Federal University of Fluminense (UFF), teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. He holds a bachelor's and master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Pará (UFPA) and a Ph.D. in Energy from the University of São Paulo (USP), with a sandwich program at the Institute of Solar Energy at the Polytechnic University of Madrid (IES-UPM). Director of the Brazilian Solar Energy Association (ABENS) and coordinator of the 11th Brazilian Solar Energy Congress (CBENS 2026). He is active in research, development, and outreach, having participated primarily in strategic R&D and energy efficiency projects for companies in the electric power sector. His research and professional work focus on topics related to distributed and centralized electricity generation using photovoltaic and hybrid systems, as well as energy efficiency applied to the built environment.
