Alex works as Officer for Energy and Economic Policy at BSW Solar, the German Solar Association representing over 1,000 companies from the PV, battery storage and solar thermal sectors. As an economist with a background in data analysis, international trade and environmental economics, he has been reinforcing BSW's International Markets team since 2022 by monitoring EU policy, supporting global solar manufacturing initiatives and providing market intelligence for the domestic PV + storage market as well as BSW's international activities. He holds a PhD from the University of Mannheim and spent two years as exchange student (and soccer captain of intramural/student teams) in the United States.

Lina María Redondo Norato is an Electrical Engineer and a Master's candidate in Electrical Engineering at the National University of Colombia. She currently serves as Regulatory Lead at SER Colombia, the association that represents companies across the renewable energy value chain in Colombia, where she leads the association's regulatory agenda for the development of renewable energy in the country. She has experience in the electricity sector in Colombia and other markets across the region, including participation in high-voltage infrastructure projects in Colombia, Ecuador, Central America, and the Caribbean. Her background combines technical training in electrical engineering with experience in power infrastructure, regulation, and energy sector development.

With over 13 years of experience in government affairs, energy policy and regulatory strategy, previously served as Director of Regulation at INEMA (Bahia State Environmental Agency). Holds a law degree with postgraduate specializations in Energy Law and International Law.

He has been working as scientific researcher in Buenos Aires University, Argentine and Oxford Brookes University, UK. He has also job positions as regional manager for several top PV companies as Solarex, BP Solar & Total Energie - Tenesol (Total Group). Today, he is an independent renewable energy consultant & President of Distributed Solar PV at Argentinean Chamber of Renewable Energy and Secretary of Board of Directors of IRESUD (private and public consortium to develop solar pv technology in urban areas in Argentina) & Board Secretary & Co-coordinator of taskforce LATAM at Global Solar Council. He is also a member of Advisory Committee of National Ministry of Science & Technology.
