Free Webinar

Wednesday, May 06, 2020 | 8:00pm–9:00pm CET / 3:00pm–4:00pm BRT | Webinar Language: Portuguese

The global photovoltaic solar industry has been greatly affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. In Brazil, whose PV solar energy market is among those of fastest growth in the world, the economic standstill since March and the rise in dollar-to-real rate have severely affected demand — for example, according to ABSOLAR - Brazilian Solar Photovoltaic Energy Association, new orders for distributed PV systems were reduced by between 60% to 80% compared to February figures. In this webinar the CEO of ABSOLAR, Rodrigo Lopes Sauaia, will talk about this challenging moment, ABSOLAR's expectations, and the measures that are being taken to minimize the effects and guarantee the quick resumption of business activities after pandemic.

During the webinar participants can submit their questions to get them answered by the experts in the live Q&A. In addition, both the recording and the speakers' presentations are made available to all registrants after the webinar.
