Loana von Gaevernitz Lima has a degree in International Relations and a postgraduate degree in Business Administration, as well as an MBA in Project Management. She recently defended her master's thesis in Economics and Finance at EPGE-FGV on the topic "Economic aspects of the hydrogen value chain: Potentialities and externalities for Brazil based on strategic interactions with Germany". After her time at institutions such as Deutsche Bank (São Paulo) and the PMO (Project Management Office) for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games (Rio de Janeiro), Loana has been a member of the executive body of the German-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Rio de Janeiro since 2017, acting as Deputy Executive Director and head of department for the Market Entry and Business Development area.
Certified as a project manager by the Project Management Institute (PMP - PMI), Loana has extensive experience in developing and coordinating projects and sector studies for bilateral cooperation and generating business opportunities between Brazil and Germany in the infrastructure sector, with a special focus on the areas of energy transition (including green hydrogen), energy efficiency and environmental technologies.
