The smarter E AWARD moves into the next round and has been completely revamped. From December 1, 2023, companies will have the chance to submit their innovations or projects and compete for The smarter E AWARD – for the first time in five categories.

As the first edition of Intersolar Summit Brasil Sul drew to a close in Porto Alegre, Brazil, it was clear how and why the dizzying growth of energy generation from solar and other renewable sources poses new challenges and opens up opportunities for the National Interconnected System.

The solar photovoltaic market in Brazil has experienced remarkable growth in the last ten years. This year alone Brazilian developers have already installed at least 2.1 GW of distributed-generation solar and more than 1.3 GW of centralized PV.
