Brazil's solar PV market is rapidly growing, offering exciting opportunities for asset owners, developers, manufacturers and EPC and O&M service providers. The country has already installed over 32 GW of solar power capacity and has room for further growth.
This presentation will cover the latest trends in M&As, asset transactions and funding, highlighting the main drivers of asset valuation and the major risks and opportunities in the Brazilian market. It will provide an overview of the key players in the Brazilian solar PV market. We will analyze the main drivers of the valuation of PV assets DG and CG, greenfield or operational plants.
The goal with the presentation is to help decision makers to mitigate risks and maximize returns with insights and experience of other similar cases for a safe, fair, and profitable transaction for both sides.
At the end we will present a case study of a transaction from the perspective of the buy-side, highlighting the key challenges, risks, and opportunities involved in the transaction of a PV asset.
