Since the publication of Law 14.300, the Brazilian DG Market has been experiencing a significant shift. This law has introduced well-known changes; however, uncertainties still persist regarding the future of credit compensation for DG. In this presentation, we will focus on exploring these uncertainties and clarifying how the attractiveness of solar DG may evolve for DG II and DG III projects in the future.
To provide comprehensive understanding of the current landscape, we will analyze the possible DG credit compensation scenarios for the Transition Rule projects. This analysis will be based on previous compensation alternatives that were discussed in the regulation process. By examining these scenarios, we aim to assess the potential impact on different types of projects, considering relevant factors such as size, location, simultaneity, and others.
